Hi, I’m Bridget!
I am a perpetual wonderer and lover of people. I am constantly seeking the deeper things of life and am fascinated by, and interested in who people are and the formative narratives of their personal and spiritual lives.
As an emotion-focused and trauma-informed Therapeutic Spiritual Director, I offer an expansive sacred space for you to heal from personal and spiritual harm and grow into the fullness of your Belovedness. My offerings are always grounded in empathy, inclusivity, curiosity, and Love for you and your unique story.
I know entering such a sacred space and work can feel very scary and overwhelming. But, to til the soil of our lives and seek Divine Love in the midst of it all is a wild and holy endeavor. And, I believe in you. I believe and trust that you are, not only fully capable of such work, but believe you will be met by Divine Love in the depths of your being.
Thank you for being here and I look forward to journeying with you.
A little more about me:
Spiritual Hospitality
Although my spiritual lens has been formed by Christianity, my personal theology, spirituality and experience of Divine Love is expansive, fully inclusive and affirming of all people, rooted in liberative and eternal Love in and for all.
I provide a welcoming and loving space to be honest and vulnerable for a variety of spiritual backgrounds and traditions, respecting each person’s language, lens, and engagement with their personal faith and spirituality.
Approach
I take a holistic approach, integrating my psychological and spiritual training, founded on a Theology of Double Knowledge…
“To know God/Divine Love is to know yourself, to know yourself is to know God/Divine Love”.
I work to maintain a non-anxious presence of being with you and the Divine, de-centering myself, and focusing on your journey into a deeper knowing of yourself and Love.
To ensure a safe and ethical space, I regularly meet with my personal Spiritual Director, Supervisor, and multiple wisdom councils for accountability and continued personal and spiritual growth.
I adhere to SDI’s Guidelines for Ethical Conduct and honor the limits of my practice by not accessing, diagnosing/pathologizing, or treating mental health disorders as I am not a licensed psychotherapist.
